Another successful outing with the family, Shana’s family and nana hosted by my mother. We drove up the day before on Tuesday evening. We ran into some traffic along the way but nothing out is the ordinary. We arrived around 7pm and got settled in for the night . The following day, Dennalee and I headed to Walmart to pickup some last minute items and to see if we could find sand toys for the kids but after searching, no toys could be found.
We headed back to the house, relaxed for a bit and left the house to head into town town tk check out the festivities. Along the way we left Shana’s car at GSR and found a place to park at the Nugget. We arrived about 1pm, got out of our cars and headed into the casino to the event. Turns out that event didn’t actually start until 4pm so nothing was opened and nowhere to eat lunch. Everyone was still setting up their booths so no food here. We found a bougie pizza spot that looked more like an upscale wine bar. We weeee hungry . The kids were hungry so we found a spot. Now when I say this pizza is one of the best “bougie” pizzas I’ve eaten I mean it with the utmost respect. The food was great and the service was decent enough. The prices weren’t that bad either.
We took some pictures outside and headed back to our cars. We played some games at the arcade in the casino and afterwards we got in our cars and headed home.
