Today out of the blue we decided to head downtown Sacramento to grab a few burgers at food ol’ Burgers’n’brew. Perfect timing because I just started the not buying beer at the house rule on Monday. Not allowed to bring beer home but if we’re eating out, it’s fair game. I ordered an old porter that i haven’t had in awhile. Macadamia nut to be exact.
When we arrived we noticed a lot of young teens standing in line, that wrapped around the corner. Probably a live band playing at ace of spades. Sure enough, a band called ‘Boy of Uke’. We couldn’t help but notice all the parents in line with their 10 year old kids. Really cool to see parents supporting their teens. We ended up sitting outside on the patio which happened to be right next to the line to get into the show. Everyone was staring. Yes that felt odd but toy know what . The sun was out it was about 75 degrees and we were sitting outside downtown as a family and the kids weren’t being that bad.
It was a good day.
